Cover Comparisons #23: Embrace by Jessica Shirvington

Living in Germany gives me the perfect opportunity to compare original covers with the ones German publishers choose. Sometimes they're gorgeous, sometimes they make me cringe, but it's always interesting to see different covers for the same novel.

Cover Comparisons is a weekly feature here at Fictional Distraction.

(AUS / UK / GER)

I'm having a very hard time deciding whether I like the Australian or the UK cover better. While I didn't like the UK cover a lot when I first saw it, I'm starting to like it more and more while beginning to feel as if the AUS cover is getting a little boring. But both of these are definitely better than the German cover which is, in comparison, too brown for my taste and therefore it looks a little bit boring.

Which version do you like best?

  1. Great pick this week Carina! I love the AUS cover...I don't really like the UK, although I have that copy. lol

  2. I loved the German cover and how the wings was displayed there :)

  3. I actually like the German one. The facial expression on the other two is weird.

  4. The Australian cover is my favourite, but the German cover is just as good!
